Clearwell is currently sourcing container systems as fixed installations of waste water treatment facilities that handles waste water containing large amounts of suspended solids and heavy metals. Water with high turbidity often occur at industrial sites with operations such as mining, tanneries and recycling plants, and can reach values up to 1000 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Unit). A typical discharge standard is around >10 NTU, which leads to a need to reduce the turbidity in the water.
Clearwell uses a combination och advanced technologies to reduce heavy metals, isotops, oil and chemical pollutants through a combination of plasma treated stainless mesh filter, nano filter solutions and polypropylen filters.
There are many ways to separate particles from water, our methods involve using membrane filter system with micro- or nano-sized pores combined with plasma treated filter solutions. “Dead end” filtration means that the membrane is positioned at the end of a pipe, perpendicular to the flow of the water, very suited for mining, tanneries and recycling industries.
