Water purification for the mining industry.
Clearwell is currently marketing a container based system as fixed installation of waste water treatment facility that handles waste water containing large amounts of suspended solids and heavy metals. Water with high turbidity often occur at industrial sites with operations such as mining, construction or blasting, and recycling plants and can reach values up to 1000 NTU. A typical discharge standard is around >10 NTU, which leads to a need to reduce the turbidity in the water.
The system is designed to reduce heavy metals, isotops, oil and chemical pollutants through a combination of plasma treated stainless filters, nano filter solutions and polypropylen filters. There are many ways to separate particles from water. The methods involve using membrane filter system with micro- or nano-sized pores as well as combined with plasma treated filter solutions.
