CLEARWELL signs letter of intent with the Municipality of São Gonçalo in Brazil
The Municipality of São Gonçalo do Amarante/RN formalised, signed last Wednesday (12), a letter of intent with Clearwell do Brasil, a subsidiary of Clearwell Europe AB, based in Stockholm - Sweden, for the implementation of a water purification factory at the São Gonçalo Airport Business Center. The document was signed by the municipal secretary of Economic Development, Vagner Araújo and the director of Clearwell do Brasil, Helder Gaudêncio.

Company executive, Jim Karlsson is also in Rio Grande do Norte in charge of speeding up the installation. The initial contact for the feasibility of the enterprise in Rio Grande do Norte took place via the State Secretariat for Economic Development – Sedec. “Following the contacts we had with Sedec – RN, we agreed to install our company here in the state, and we chose São Gonçalo do Amarante. We are requesting the land to establish our headquarters in Brazil, and the tax incentives that the municipality already offers”, informed the director of Clearwell do Brasil Helder Gaudêncio.
Secretary Vagner Araújo adds that São Gonçalo still offers the differential of the business center being located next to the airport. “Clearwell works with light weight products, more suitable for the hold of an airplane, and this proximity to the airport terminal makes all the difference in transport logistics”.
